In today’s manufacturing environment, air and water filtration is a key component in maintaining a clean and safe environment.  Proper filtration management is critical in assuring sustainable resources.  In addition, it makes economic sense to provide filtration systems that maintain product quality.  The winning project in the category of “Recycling, Reuse and Remanufacturing” provided manufacturing filtration enhancements that significantly improved environmental performance and financial value.  Due to the implementation of this project, filtration system by-products are now diverted from landfill and reprocessed for internal reuse or recycled.  Many aspects of the project are globally-applicable for all manufacturers using filtration systems.
